University of Western Australia 2024 Global Excellence Scholarship
The University of Western Australia (UWA) is extending an invitation to high-achieving international students worldwide to apply for their prestigious scholarships. These scholarships are designed for both undergraduate and postgraduate students who enroll in specified courses at UWA.
For those planning to study in Australia in 2024, the scholarship opportunities are substantial. Undergraduate students may receive up to AUD$48,000* spread over four years for eligible courses, or up to AUD$36,000* over three years. Postgraduate students, on the other hand, can benefit from scholarships worth up to AUD$24,000* over two years for eligible courses.

The Global Excellence Scholarship provides an annual tuition fee discount for the full duration of the recipient’s course, as outlined in their offer letter. The scholarship’s value is based on the applicant’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or their UWA weighted average mark (WAM). This ensures that high-achieving students receive financial support in proportion to their academic excellence.
Requirements:
To be eligible for Global Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must have received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
- Have achieved an equivalent:
- minimum ATAR 85.00; or
- minimum WAM 65.00
- If studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), students must have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00.
Duration and Reward
Applicants seeking Global Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students will receive the following rewards:
- Up to AUD$48,000 over four years for undergraduates commencing eligible courses in 2024
- Up to AUD$36,000 over three years for undergraduates commencing eligible courses in 2024
- Up to AUD$24,000 over two years for postgraduates commencing eligible courses in 2024.
