Job Description
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards within our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all financial transactions related to warehouse operations, including invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
- Reconcile inventory records with physical counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, providing insights to optimize inventory management practices.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports detailing warehouse performance and inventory metrics.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for warehouse expenses and revenue.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2nd Class degree in B.Sc. / HND in Finance, Accounting, or any other related field (Membership of a recognized professional body i.e. ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
