Fleet Officer – Refurbishment Job at MAX.NG

We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Fleet Officer – Refurbishment
Job Location: Lokoja, Kogi
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Document and track all costs associated with vehicle refurbishment to facilitate accurate repricing.
- Maintain comprehensive assessment records for all decommissioned vehicles.
- Oversee the management of all decommissioned vehicles.
- Supervise the check-out process for re-certified vehicles.
- Generate and manage job cards for decommissioned vehicles earmarked for refurbishment.
- Assess vehicle condition and determine refurbishment requirements.
- Analyze refurbishment costs and collaborate with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager on action plans.
- Ensure timely recertification of all decommissioned vehicles to meet Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements.
- Document all refurbished vehicles on our Vehicle Asset Management System (VAMS) and provide accurate data for pricing and reactivation.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management.
- Excellent understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Good grasp of fleet management concepts.
- Critical and analytical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to confidentiality and thoroughness.
- Minimum of OND in any Engineering discipline, with preference given to Mechanical Engineering graduates.
