Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee all aspects of the hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring all team members perform their duties efficiently.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities for staff.

Guest Services:

  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions are handled with the highest level of professionalism and hospitality.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the hotel’s budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
  • Monitor and control operational costs and revenue, optimizing profitability.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and its services.

Quality Control:

  • Regularly inspect facilities, services, and staff performance to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
  • Implement and maintain procedures for quality assurance.


  • Prepare and present regular reports on the hotel’s performance to senior management.
  • Analyze financial statements and other performance data to identify areas for improvement.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar managerial role.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

N150,000 – N200,000 per month
